In September, Dr. Felicia Lopez was invited to speak at the Library of Congress in Washington D.C. The event showcased preeminent scholars of Nahua and Mexican texts from around the globe. Her talk explored the need for scholars to recognize the presence of logosyllabic glyphic writing in these documents. As an invited guest of the Library of Congress, Dr. Lopez also had the opportunity to personally examine extremely delicate texts, including the Huexotzinco Codex from 1531.
