Cat Flores begins her studies at UC Davis this fall as a Ph.D. English student and over the summer, she plans to release new original music under her artist project name "KATT."
Cat's accomplishments were recently documented by UC Merced's newsroom, who reported on the ways she is using her literary and writing skills to make waves in the music industry, as a rep for Grammy U, songwriter, and recording artist.
She has also conducted research on music's role in Shakespearean theatre through UROC-H, and wrote a senior honors thesis on the topic.
