Shakespeare in Yosemite: Love's Labor's Lost

A 90-minute musical show about love, nature, and Yosemite in 1969
For all ages and all creatures

Starring several UC Merced English majors, with many more working behind the scenes as designers, stage managers, associate directors, and more.

Our 2022 show is uniquely adapted for Yosemite National Park, based on Shakespeare's Love's Labor's Lost, and is set in 1969, with groovy music and costumes, and an evocation of the first Earth Day.

It will be performed in Curry Village April 22-24:

Friday April 22nd (Earth Day): 5:30 pm

Saturday April 23 (Shakespeare's Birthday): 2:00 pm and 5:30 pm

Sunday April 24: 12:00 noon

All shows are FREE. There are no tickets; just show up! All shows will begin with a preshow of live 1969-era music, starting a half hour before the show.
